Radon Testing

If you are a homeowner that takes maintenance seriously, then radon testing should form part of this maintenance routine. As we have already established, high levels of radon exposure can be extremely dangerous. It can cause serious lung problems, and in serious cases, it can even cause cancer. To ensure you always know what your radon levels are doing, we have devised several tests to help you out. These will go a long way to helping you stay on top of things without having to face them alone. Should you want to know more, please continue reading or give us a shout today.

Radon Levels
Radon is an extremely dangerous substance. It causes more deaths annually than colon, breast, and prostate cancer combined. As you can see it is not something which should be taken lightly. The fact that this element is completely tasteless, odorless, and colorless just adds to the level of danger. Radon levels are mainly determined by the weather, soil makeup, and the structural ventilation system you have in place. To get a reading of these levels, it is best to have the area tested using one of our professional methods. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the results.

Short-Term Test
The first thing you need to know is that we have a test for any situation. The first test we would like to introduce you to is our short-term solution. We generally use this testing method so that we can get a general idea of the radon levels in the space. This usually takes place over 48 hours and this test is a great way of determining if we should do any further testing. This solution paints a picture of the situation and once we have the results, it allows us to devise a plan moving forward.

Long-Term Test
Should we find anything of interest when doing the short-term test, the next step in the process would be a long-term test. This will be done over a much longer period. Traditionally these tests can last between 9 days and an entire year. During this time we will be able to accurately establish what the radon levels are like, and will even be able to provide an average infection level. This gives us a much more accurate picture than the short-term solution. To get a better understanding and to find out which is best suited to you, why not give us a chance.

Continuous Testing
For those clients who want to stay on top of their radon levels no matter what the situation might be, we would like to introduce you to our continuous testing solution. There are many variants when it comes to this testing method, and some of them will measure the levels and produce results in real-time. Once again the need for this test will be determined by our experts. They will give you the best understanding possible so that when we do finally select a lasting solution, you will know why. Now rather than taking any chances, just do the right thing and give us a call today.
